Old miners can now dig from the office!
Zhulan Iron Mine, an open-pit site run by Pangang Mining Co., is one of Pangang Group’s main raw material bases.
Since March 2021, Pangang has teamed up with telecom firms and tech teams to launch a "5G Remote Mining" project, upgrading mining equipment with smart tech.
Now, workers sit in a control room and operate the machines remotely via 5G networks.
