THE TINUBU SILENT AGRICULTURE REVOLUTION....

Few weeks ago, the Tinubu govt launch the construction of the Special Agricultural processing zones in X states across Nigeria...

This program is backed by international funding agencies to the tune of N1.5trillion Naira...

The Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZs) are expected to act as :

X. Agro-Industrial Clustering

Co-locate agricultural processing companies, logistics, storage, cold chains, and market infrastructure in designated rural hubs.

This clustering boosts efficiency, reduces transport costs, and encourages private investment.

X. Value Addition

Promote processing of raw agricultural produce into finished or semi-finished goods (e.g., tomatoes to paste, cassava to starch/flour).

Reduces post-harvest losses, especially in perishable produce.

X. Job Creation

Direct employment in processing plants, logistics, maintenance, etc.

Indirect jobs in farming, packaging, retail, and support services.

X. Export Promotion

Help Nigeria produce export-grade agricultural products, boosting foreign exchange earnings.

Enable compliance with international food safety and quality standards.

X. Technology Transfer & Innovation

Encourage use of modern equipment, renewable energy, and irrigation systems.

Enable training centers and partnerships with research institutes and agro-tech startups.

X. Private Sector Investment

De-risk agro-investments by providing public infrastructure, including:

Roads

Power

Water

Telecoms

Attract both local and foreign investors in agri-business.

X. Link Smallholder Farmers to Markets

Create structured offtake arrangements between processors and farmers.

Help farmers access finance, inputs, extension services, and mechanization.

This initiative would revolutionize the Agricultural economy of Nigeria, X states have been picked in the first phase ... With construction already in progress in Kano, Kaduna, Kwara, Cross River, FCT, Ogun and Imo with completion expected in 2026, XX states are expected to benefit in phases 2...
I am jobless would no longer be an excuse when this Agro-Industrial zones breath to life....
Just prepare yourself....

Not done the Tinubu govt imported over 2000 tractors and farming tools , the biggest ever since nigeria became a country.... In a bid to mechanized Nigeria food production...

This XXXXX tractors came with disc ploughs, harrows, ridgers, trailers, seed drills, boom sprayers, combine harvesters, mobile workshops, implements, and spare parts .

The goal: modernize farming, reduce manual labor, boost yields, and ensure national food sovereignty, moving Nigeria toward self‑sufficiency and global agricultural competitiveness

The story didn't end there... This is just phase X involves distributing the first XXXXX tractors, with a long‑term vision to deploy XXXXXX John Deere tractors over five years, managed by the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) .

The immediate aim is to cultivate over XXXXXXX hectares of farmland, produce X million metric tons of staple foods annually, generate 16,000+ jobs, and benefit XXXXXXX farming households .

This tractors are being deployed via a service‑provider model: private operators, cooperatives, and state bodies will offer mechanisation services to smallholder farmers

President Tinubu highlighted that mechanisation will make farming more attractive to youths by creating jobs in operation, repair, logistics, and agritechnology .

A nationwide training program is planned to equip farmers, operators, and technicians with necessary skills .

No govt living or dead has ever embarked on an Ambitious Agricultural revolution like what is unravelling before our eyes under Tinubu....

Not done... The Tinubu govt have recapitalizated the hitherto comatose Bank of Agriculture with the sum of over N1.5trillion……(1/2)
