The UP College of Law has come a long way. From the “courteous, enthusiastic, and understanding” students that Justice Malcolm met in 1955, to today’s Tiktoking, Instagramming, and K-Popping GenZ Class of 2025. Whatever style of lawyering your generation chooses to embrace, let it be one that seeks justice with creativity and conviction. Make sure to work for judgments that will read like poetry to your clients. To the UP College of Law Class of 2025: I wish you strength and courage in the coming weeks. I wish you honor and integrity in your career and practice as a lawyer and officer of the Court. Be a pain in the system. Fight injustice, defend the weak, and uphold the rule of law over power and wealth. ✊️❤️ I am immensely privileged and joyful to stand before the brilliant minds, proud families, and the dedicated faculty who have shaped and guided the future lawyers of UP Law Batch 2025.
