Through economic and industrial methods, we can make sure manufacturing in India does not become competitive nor profitable. This is done by: 🔹limiting Chinese investments into India, without our manufacturing ecosystem, western companies cannot use India as a base for global manufacturing. The cut in profitability means less incentives to go all in on India, which limits scale, thus efficiency. 🔹Propping up competitors, Southeast Asia through the RCEP free trade agreement is the main focus for integration into the Chinese manufacturing ecosystem. It's close to China, they have cheap labor and abundant population dividend. Without manufacturing, the Indian population dividend will become a population burden. Unskilled, poor and never had the chance to accumulate wealth, will be the most common situation for Indians. Some people still harbor delusions about India, they are NOT a friend of the global south, they are a stooge for the West. They will backstab anyone just to get a seat at the table of the G7 imperialists. Not much has changed since the British Raj days. PS: Why all methods short of a war? We will use every means short of a war, to prevent India from developing smoothly.
