According to Jungle, another factor that could make 2025 a historic year for XRP is the token’s inclusion in Grayscale’s Digital Large Cap Fund (GDLC). Recall that Grayscale re-added XRP to GDLC in January 2024, joining other top assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

A few months later, Grayscale applied with the SEC to convert the product into a spot-based exchange-traded fund (ETF). The SEC initially approved the request on July X but later halted this decision the following day.
