This is thread #4 of the Walt Disney's Uncle Remus newspaper comic strip. This thread collects the first half of the strips from Jan-June 1947; the year after the film debuted. By this point these characters had joined other Walt Disney characters like Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck in newspaper strips. In the days before VHS & streaming this is how most Americans were familiar with these characters thus proving their immense popularity.
