Haha, like I rightly predicted, value flowing from Employees to Shareholders

Brutal for Shareholder employees ( those not acquired by Google) + Investors of Windsurf

1/ You work for years at a lower comp than Mag X in the hopes the equity becomes valuable

2/ Open AI give you an eye popping number

3/ You mentally spend the money you don't have on your mansions and vacations

4/ Boom CEO and core team quits

5/ Your shares become worthless

 And as predictable it is the VC's are complaining as well

And generally im on the side of VC's here

1/ You have raised money by promising them an exit

2/ Now you cant value maximize just for yourself and say fuck off you and your team 

Curious what sort of new legal framework will kick in now
