🇺🇸🇨🇳 TIKTOK STOLE AMAZON’S PLAYBOOK... THEN DITCHED IT FOR CHINA’S

TikTok hired tons of ex-Amazon employees to help launch its shopping app in the US.

They copied Amazon’s style, strategies, and even office vibes to win over sellers and shoppers.

But after sales lagged, TikTok’s bosses in China took control and pushed a new plan based on its Chinese app, Douyin.

Now the Amazon crew is mostly gone, and TikTok Shop is going full China mode instead.
