EU AI Act enforcement is here - no delays, no grace period. First wave already started (Feb 2025). 

Next deadlines:

-Aug 2025: All general-purpose AI must comply
-Aug 2026: High-risk systems in healthcare, HR, finance

Many orgs still have: 

❌ No AI audit trails 
❌ Models trained on non-compliant data 
❌ No risk classification 
❌ No governance structures 
❌ No legal oversight

This isn't policy debate  it's operational risk at infrastructure scale. 

Leadership is now legally bound to document, register, and enforce AI compliance.
