🚨 NEW: California's 'Bitcoin payments' bill has been changed to *only* include stablecoins.

AB1180 *would* have allow the state to accept payments in "digital financial assets" (inc. BTC).

It was amended in the Senate Banking & Financial Institutions Committee last week.
