Whoa. Karen Read defense attorney Alan Jackson has sent an official letter to @bostonpolice Commissioner Michael Cox, requesting that officer Kelly Dever be placed on the official Brady List based on her unreliability and/or dishonesty when she testified to a “false memory” during the Karen Read retrial.

In the letter, Jackson warns Cox that if he fails to flag Dever as a Brady liability, he will be asking for Constitutional violations in cases that Dever is involved with in the future, saying:

“Either Officer Dever lied about having a false memory, or she actually suffers from a condition that subjects her to false memories.”
