Once again, the media falls for it hook, line, and sinker. Let’s break it down. This morning, the UN issued a statement condemning the “killings of people at aid distribution sites.” They mention GHF multiple times—clearly trying to blame us for the deaths of hundreds of people in Gaza—yet they mention Hamas only once, and not even in connection with aid distribution. That speaks volumes. Let’s be clear: this narrative is being driven by Hamas, amplified by UN statements, and rubber-stamped by the press. The number “798” is pure Hamas propaganda. These claims are rarely verified, often recycled, and designed to generate outrage, not accuracy. Still, even the UN admits that nearly XXX deaths occurred along aid routes associated with their own operations and other international partners. Gaza is a war zone, and the risks are real. But instead of owning their role, they deflect blame and target GHF, the one operation that’s actually working. They also play word games, citing deaths “in the vicinity” of GHF sites. But Gaza is tiny. In past cases, we’ve seen that “vicinity” meant over a kilometer away. It’s an intentionally vague phrase designed to plant suspicion and undermine our work. In the UN’s own words, violence along aid routes is “severely constraining food delivery and distribution and posing significant risks to the population and humanitarian partners.” We know this ourselves and have said so repeatedly. Hamas is all around, and they have shown time and again that they will do anything to end GHF. They’ve killed and wounded our workers. They’ve threatened civilians who come to our distribution points. But somehow, with the UN, Hamas gets a pass and GHF gets smeared. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: no one—not a single person—has ever been killed at a GHF aid distribution site. We unequivocally condemn any violence targeting civilians seeking food, whether at a GHF site, a UN location, or anywhere else. The old aid distribution system protects neither the food nor the people trying to get it. Meanwhile, the GHF team continues to do heroic work under constant threat, delivering more than XX million meals directly to the people of Gaza, without looting, diversion, or interference. But more is needed. Much more. So once again, our message to the UN is this: we are available to help you get your aid in and make sure it reaches the people who need it safely, directly, and without interference by Hamas or any other bad actor.
