would you rather have me support coins on other launchpads?

i can't speak for Tom or any other member of the BonkFun team

but i won't stop supporting BonkFun eco plays i like, GOD WILLING

in case it is not clear to those pushing this narrative

i am not a part of the BonkFun team, nor am i on their payroll

i am a 'KOL' with independence to support whatever i damn well please, if you may put it that way

so i will support and publicly shill whatever i want

just as i have been doing well before BonkFun came into the picture

my job is to find good memecoin narratives early and talk about why i think they have potential 

it is the main reason i became so popular, and now have so much 'motion' as some will say, in the first place

except in this case i am laser focused on supporting BonkFun plays, almost exclusively 

and thank God some of the best projects have been launching on there lately, so finding something to bid and support is easy

the above rant aside:

for those who legitimately have this concern

i suggest studying how BonkFun rapidly became the top launchpad in the space in a mere two months, defeating a 1.5-year old 600-pound gorilla

organic runners that are doing well without support from Tom or myself have been spawning on BonkFun

i see a lot of them every day

however, it is important to realize that strong memecoins do not just emerge and run to hundreds of millions in days (like many seem to now expect, sadly)

it takes time

and it often takes periods of large corrections that shake out unbelievers and helps a core community form around these memecoins

e.g. study USELESS coin

USELESS coin did not start its mega run until after over a month of its launch, when even some of the most respected voices on this app had declared it dead

BonkFun is barely even two months old, and it only started gaining real traction about a week or so ago

why not give it some time?

there are a lot of memecoins in the BonkFun trenches that are around the levels USELESS coin was at before its parabolic rally, or close

founders and key ecosystem voices supporting key projects on their platform is a net positive for this space and the way to win

it was the way Solana became THE memecoin chain

@aeyakovenko @rajgokal, true chads they were, epitomized this in the early days of Solana's memecoin movement by publicly supporting or engaging with memecoins with strong potential

that did not prevent Solana from going mainstream as the memecoin chain because 'only memes Toly and Raj engage with pumps'

instead, it sent a message to people that the Solana founders cared

it brought an army of memecoin believers over to the chain who made a lot of money 

and eventually the wealth effect spread to other new, strong narratives and created a flywheel of sorts

i recommend spending some time in the trenches 

and it will be clear that all the good memecoin narratives are now launching by default on BonkFun

eventually, a lot of the next BONKs, WIFs, and FARTCOINs will emerge from BonkFun
