🕵️‍♂️ Friday Security Snapshot

📍 You’re at a crypto conference.
A poster catches your eye:
"Scan this QR for a free mint!"
"Register your wallet to enter the giveaway!"

Seems harmless, right?

But that QR might be a wallet drainer in disguise.

At major crypto events, phishing kits go physical:

⚠️ Fake QR codes on flyers, swag, or even badges
⚠️ Booths impersonating wallets or projects
⚠️ NFC tags that auto-launch wallet connects

It’s social engineering, just dressed up in merch.

In order to protect yourself:

✅ Double-check URLs before connecting
✅ Use burner wallets for on-site interaction
✅ Never sign blindly, even in-person!

🧠 Security isn’t just digital.
Sometimes, the threat is stuck to a wall.
