My plan: “Hamburgers, beans, chips.” Through an unfortunately democratic process this turned into: hamburgers, broccoli (the traditional side-dish for hamburgers?), beans, ribs, salmon, baked potatoes, corn, pasta and red sauce, cold cuts, peaches, watermelon, a salad that no one actually ate, fancy French bread from Publix, cheese sliced white bread, cheese sliced yellow white cheddar American Brie. Every freakin’ pot, pan, and dish was used, and had to be redistributed to their proper condos. It was like XX dwarves had come for tea. I, too, love the South!!!!
