This Bitcoin and Ethereum trade was all over my timeline and it was an obvious setup with a clear breakout point. Did it matter that everyone was talking about it? No, I posted about it often over the last week. Did I care that other people had the same idea? No. Setups either work or they don’t. When they’re obvious or “textbook” that’s actually a bullish signal. If you go read a trading book, most of the setups included look obvious before the breakout. That’s why they’re called textbook setups. It’s edgy and contrarian to say “this won’t happen because it’s crowded” but oftentimes it’s like when bears try and sound smart with their doom speak during a bull market. Too much overthinking.
