In Berlin today I stood in solidarity - not just with @VictoireUmuhoza Ingabire, but with every Rwandan who’s been silenced, jailed, exiled, or killed for demanding dignity. We are not asking for favors. These are our rights guaranteed by our constitution. Kagame’s regime thrives on repression and fear. But fear is not a future.

Westen countries must stop enabling authoritarianism in Rwanda and the Great Lakes region for geopolitical influence or access to conflict minerals. Supporting dictatorships only deepens cycles of violence and instability. Enough.
