Intel $INTC is spinning out its AI robotics and biometrics venture, RealSense, with a fresh $XX million Series A raise backed by MediaTek Innovation Fund and Intel Capital. 

RealSense, which makes robotics automation tools, plans to use the funding to expand product lines and meet rising demand. Nadav Orbach, Intel’s VP for incubation and disruptive innovation, will lead as CEO. Intel will keep a minority stake as it continues restructuring to stay competitive in AI.
