In 2022, Congress petitioned the Supreme Court, arguing that mandating Aadhaar linkage to Voter IDs was blatantly unconstitutional and trampled on fundamental rights.  

In 2025, the same Congress shamelessly now demands that the EC accept Aadhaar as proof of citizenship.
