NEW: CNN guest faceplants after claiming that illegals are crossing the border because white guys like Donald Trump hire them.

Then he gets fact-checked by the liberal host after making a false claim about overstayed visas.

JENNINGS: “[Border crossings] have stopped, have they not?”

JOHN FUGELSANG: “No, they have not. And they will continue to come. They come here because white folks like Donald Trump hire them to avoid paying a living wage for an American worker.”

JENNINGS: “The border is effectively shut down.”

ANOTHER GUEST: “I can tell you the border is not the only way people get in this country.”

FUGELSANG: “The majority overstay their visas.”
