Ah yes, the classic "Don’t California my South Carolina!" argument because who wouldn’t want to trade world-class universities, the 5th largest economy on Earth, and a tech industry that powers half the planet… for potholes, prayer breakfasts, and policies from 1957?

Nancy Mace warning South Carolina about becoming California is like a flip phone warning an iPhone about too many features. 

But sure, keep dunking on the state that funds your federal subsidies while topping charts in GDP, innovation, and education. Facts are stubborn things—and apparently, so is pride in mediocrity.
