Speaking during an interview tonight with NBC News, U.S. President Donald J. Trump stated that he is “disappointed in Russia,” regarding ongoing negotiations with and continued attacks against civilians in Ukraine, adding, “I think I’ll have a major statement to make on Russia on Monday.” President Trump also appeared to confirm reports that the U.S. is preparing to sell additional weaponry to NATO under the assumption that it will be provided to Ukraine, with him stating, “We’re sending weapons to NATO, and NATO is paying for those weapons, 100%. So what we’re doing is the weapons that are going out are going to NATO, and then NATO is going to be giving those weapons [to Ukraine], and NATO is paying for those weapons,” adding that the deal was agreed upon during the most recent NATO Summit.
