In the past, Auger analysis has had a negative image, such as being difficult and taking a long time. However, the "Spectrum Image" method introduced here changes those perceptions by providing data cubes similar to EDS.
With this new method, we demonstrate examples of high energy resolution and high spatial resolution measurements that can now be easily achieved using Auger analysis.
