Hilcorp San Juan assets were bought from ConocoPhillips. The deal, which was finalized in 2017, involved Hilcorp acquiring ConocoPhillips' interests in the San Juan Basin for up to $X billion. This included $XXX billion in cash and a contingent payment of up to $XXX million.
I used to work for AMOCO Production Company in the SJ Basin before becoming a Petroleum Geologist.
