A380 brake unit test ✈️
Here you are a fun fact about brake units.
During a rejected takeoff or hard landing, brake temperatures can exceed 2,000°C (3,600°F) — that’s hotter than some lava flows. Pilots and ground crews use infrared sensors or brake temperature indicators to monitor them, and sometimes you can even see them glowing red.
