Acura's first-ever SUV was the SLX, a luxury rebadged version of the Isuzu Trooper. 

There were actually two versions of it, 96-97 and 98-99. Leather, 4WD, automatic, huge sunroof, and wood trim were standard. 

It sold poorly and was replaced by the MDX in 2001.
