Canada has a history of getting big things done—and getting them built fast.

I was inspired reading Erin O’Toole’s (@erinotoole) article below, highlighting when Canada—still not even XX years old—turned marshland in Toronto’s Beaches into an industrial hub that included the world’s largest electrified steel plant and a wartime shipyard that cranked out a record number of ships.

Faced with the urgency of WWI, we did the impossible.

Now, XXX years later, we have to do it again—to win this trade war, to protect our economic future, and to ensure that Canada, and Canada alone, controls its destiny 🇨🇦
