Previously we talked about the Rockefeller Emerald that is owned by the Harry Winston house, but did you know this fun fact about their founder?

Apparently Harry Winston had a keen eye for gemstones since he was young and he acquired a X carat emerald for only XX cents and later sold it for over $XXX in 1908.

This not only shows his keen eye for gemstones, but as well how the value of emeralds increased since then, because as of now a similar emerald to that would be worth more than $10k per carat.

Now think about how much emeralds would be worth XXX years from now.
