When I say this I look at the global employment scenario

Microsoft, Google laying of 1000s of people in a single day

IIM alumni groups sending SoS that new batches are not getting placed

People I know not able to convert internship into PPO

Number of new cars being bought going significantly down compared to last X years

VC funding rounds becoming smaller and smaller, many big startups closing shop in past XX months

Situation is dire, not in India specifically, but globally
