Britain’s warehouse floor is turning into a robotics proving ground—DHL Supply Chain just committed £550 m to roll out 1,000+ new robots across its UK network.

Stretch unloaders from Boston Dynamics will soon join the XXXXX collaborative machines DHL already runs in XX sites, unloading up to XXX boxes per hour and freeing people for higher-value work. The deployment, coupled with a new health-logistics hub in Derby, shows automation moving from pilot to platform.

Zooming out, IFR’s World Robotics 2024 report clocked a XX % jump in UK robot installations last year as global operating stock topped four million units. Meanwhile LogisticsIQ projects warehouse-automation spend to hit $XX bn by 2030, powered by unrelenting e-commerce volumes.
