The meeting between Lavrov and Secretary Rubio has ended, the Russian foreign ministry said. 

According to the ministry's statement, the parties confirmed their "mutual commitment to finding peaceful solutions to conflict situations."

They discussed the situation in Ukraine, as well as the situation in Iran and Syria. Lavrov and Secretary Rubio also "reconciled their positions on the entire bilateral agenda and a number of international issues."

According to the Russian foreign ministry, the participants noted their interest in restoring Russian-American economic and humanitarian cooperation, resuming direct flights, and normalizing the work of diplomatic missions.

It is stated that "the dialogue will continue."
