⚡ "It's not yours, it's ours" — Duda threatens to shut down Rzeszów for Ukraine and its allies

As his presidency nears its end, Andrzej Duda delivered a sharp message to Ukraine and Western allies. In an interview with Polsat News, he said Poland is being ignored despite its central role in arms deliveries — and warned that the Rzeszów military hub could be shut down.

“Our allies and the Ukrainians act like the Rzeszów airport and our highways belong to them. But they don’t. They’re ours. Don’t like it? We shut it down, say it’s under maintenance — and goodbye. Deliver aid by sea, by air, drop it with parachutes. Figure it out if you think you don’t need us,” Duda said.

He also admitted to intentionally blocking the final statement at the NATO summit in Vilnius, in protest over Poland being excluded from key logistics decisions:

“It was a scandal. And this isn’t something to discuss with Ukraine — it should be addressed with the Americans and the Germans.”
