At the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin believed that the sun was rising on the new American republic.

Now, many Americans fear that sun may be setting. 

But we will get through the present trial. We must do all we can to mitigate the harms from this administration until they are brought to an end.

And then we will begin the long process of restoring the very best of America.
