$VIX puts are being bought just before $SPY ramps like what's shown below to suppress vol further and cause an automatic rise in equity prices. This also happened yesterday and Monday. They didn't need to do this last week as the momentum trade was on its own. Now you can tell that momentum, if any, is manufactured, you get a price rise, and you sit at it for a long while,  until the next VIX puts orders hit the tape, to push the price again.  This market is exhausted, all the signals say so.  It is on VIX suppression life support. Mrs Market is eating time off the clock. Eventually, someone will say: "Pull It!"
