Here are four of the most recent heavily watched base breakouts that have taken place over the last year or two.

$NVDA $SMCI $MSTR $GLD

All four have very similar structure with multiple months of sideways price action followed by a big breakout.

Nobody knows if these setups will work but no trading outcome is certain. You have to be comfortable with the potential of a trade not working as expected when you place it or you won’t catch a breakout like this.
