VfB Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth talks about Nick Woltemade's future 

• Will Woltemade leave VfB?

Wohlgemuth: "We signed a long-term contract with Nick a year and a half ago. It's still valid, and therefore we expect Nick to continue playing football with us next season. I believe he'll stay here next season. Nick Woltemade is a VfB player"

• Are there negotiations ongoing with Bayern?

Wohlgemuth: "If any talks take place, it's a matter between the two clubs. FC Bayern have expressed their interest to us."

• How is Nick Woltemade handling the situation? 

Wohlgemuth: "Nick is a great athlete and has an outstanding character. When we told him last summer that he wouldn't be part of the Champions League squad, he stepped up his game and handled it professionally. He has a family here and strongly identifies with the club. Regardless of how and when the matter is resolved, I'm absolutely certain that he'll find his best performance here afterwards"
