I realize there’s an argument made that when #MeghanMarkle married into Harry’s world she had to give up The Tig, give up the brand deals, give up “acting” (even though her role on “Suits” was done and the Queen told her if she wanted to continue acting, that was great) and give up her influencer dreams-but it can also be said that in return she was gaining a platform that only a handful of people in the world have, access to leaders and influence she could have only dreamed of. There was credibility inherent to that role-and she threw it away to shill dried weeds, runny fruit goo, and white label overstocked cheap swill-losing all credibility in the process.
