Exciting Update for $DMTR l @dimitratech and 🇺🇬 Uganda’s Coffee ☕️Farmers!

The Masaka Cooperative Union (MCU), founded in 1951, is a cornerstone of Uganda’s coffee industry, empowering farmers in the Masaka sub-region (including Masaka, Sembabule, Rakai, and beyond).

After collapsing in the 1980s due to political turmoil, MCU has made a remarkable recovery, now supporting over XXXXXXX farmers through XXX societies (80+ active) and embracing modern farming practices.

In July 2025, the Masaka Cooperative Union (MCU) partnered with Dimitra to launch the Connected Coffee Platform, a game-changing digital tool connecting over XXXXXXX farmers to markets and real-time data. 

This initiative empowers farmers with training and digital resources, boosting livelihoods and resilience while aligning MCU with global digital agriculture trends. 

With Dimitra’s technology 🛰️👨‍💻📱🤖  MCU is supercharging ☕️ coffee production, expanding 🌍 market reach, and uplifting farmer communities, driving a modern, thriving coffee industry in Uganda 🇺🇬
