Pope Leo XIV has praised traditionalist Cardinal Raymond Burke on the Golden Jubilee of his ordination, commending his steadfast preaching of the Gospel “according to the Heart of Christ” and his devoted service to the universal Church.
Recently, Cardinal Burke urged Pope Leo XIV to overturn Francis’ Traditionis Custodes—which revoked universal access to the Traditional Latin Mass and subordinated it to the Novus Ordo—and to restore Benedict XVI’s Summorum Pontificum.
