And let me be even clearer: the means of diplomacy have been exhausted when a criminal regime openly challenges an entire country's right to exist through military force and sets out to destroy the political order of freedom across the European continent. 

The federal government under my leadership will do everything in its power to prevent exactly that. And we know we are united in this task with the overwhelming majority of our population.
