NEW: Georgia deputies rescue toddlers from 117°F car after father leaves them inside for XX minutes

Their father, J’Quawn Dixon, allegedly went into the mall at 12;24 p.m. and police weren’t alerted until 1;03 p.m

A 1-year-old and 2-year-old were found sobbing and alone in a parked car

A concerned shopper spotted the children and called XXX

When Dixon returned to the car, he was immediately arrested

He was charged with two counts of second-degree cruelty to children and booked into Cobb County Adult Detention Center

Dixon has since been released, per jail records
