Retired Police Welfare: Pension Boards Are Not Transparent or Sustainable – Agudah

The military does not enjoy the defined benefit scheme as much as the police believe they do. The CPS pension scheme is funded, unlike the defined benefit scheme, which relies on the government's budget and the military leadership's willingness to pay. The pension for police officers, like that of any other individual, is a function of the staff's remuneration. More needs to be done to improve the benefits for police officers.
