In my latest article I take a systematic look at the X key fronts (military, economic, diplomacy, and technology) where great powers compete and show how what looks like chaotic policy-making actually follows a pattern of withdrawal across every domain that matters. My conclusion: ironically, the leader who promised to make America great again may be remembered as the one who ensured the end of the American century happened on the worst possible terms. In essence, what if Trump “make America great again“ was really a PR spin for the most comprehensive strategic withdrawal in American history?
