Samsung’s operating profit fell XX% to $3.3B in Q2, missing estimates for a XX% drop. It’s their FIRST profit decline since 2023. 

Delays in getting Nvidia to certify Samsung’s advanced AI memory chips (12-layer HBM3E) weighed on results, as SK Hynix maintains its lead in high-bandwidth memory. Samsung plans to start mass production of next-gen HBM4 chips later this year.
