#OTD in 1989: a Soviet AF An-12 [CCCP-11875] crashes in Khánh Hòa (Vietnam). XX of XX aboard die. Approaching Cam Ranh airport below minima weather, plane undershot runway, causing damage. On 2nd landing attempt, plane veered of runway, hit obstacles, caught fire.
