Singapore Investigates Potential Smuggling of Nvidia AI Chips

Singaporean authorities are investigating a fraud case involving servers supplied by U.S. companies Dell Technologies and Super Micro Computer that may contain advanced Nvidia chips. These servers were delivered to Singapore-based firms and later sent to Malaysia, raising concerns about organized smuggling of restricted AI chips into China. The case underscores Singapore’s critical role as a major market and invoicing hub for Nvidia.
