Amid Central Texas’ deadly floods that have claimed at least XX lives, including XX campers and counselors, Senator Ted Cruz was seen vacationing in Europe.

He and his wife visited the Parthenon in Athens on Saturday evening, July 5th, while rescue teams were still searching for survivors back home.  

This isn’t the first time Cruz has abandoned his residents to vacation abroad. Ted Cruz earned the name “Cancun Cruz” in 2021 after going to vacation in Mexico during a winter storm which knocked out power and water for millions of Texans.
