U.S. House to Focus on Crypto Taxes, Hearing Set for July X to Discuss the Future of Digital Assets

U.S. House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman David Schweikert announced they will hold a hearing on July X (ET) titled “Making America the Crypto Capital of the World: Ensuring Digital Asset Tax Policy Built for the 21st Century.” The hearing will focus on the rapidly growing digital asset industry and explore proactive steps needed to establish a tax framework.

Members of the public can watch the live webcast, which will become available once the hearing begins.
