New drugs, clean energy, and scientific discoveries would become routine in the US, as other countries race just to catch up Because every major company, research lab, and government agency in America would have instant access to superhuman intelligence **First** and depending on how long we have it versus everybody else any amount of time will be an exponential gain in productivity and innovation versus everyone else. AGI will come and should come to the whole world and benefit everyone. However even having this technology for months before the rest of the world would result in major gaps between the US and the rest of the world America will be the first country to eliminate poverty for those who wish not to live in it.
