🇺🇸 ELON ON BUILDING A SOLAR GIGAFACTORY: “THINKING ABOUT IT”
After Randy Kirk urged him on X to rapidly scale solar and battery production, Elon replied:
“Thinking about it.”
The call was to build massive solar gigafactories and Megapack plants to hit X terawatt-hour of energy storage.
That’s enough to supercharge the U.S. grid, fuel AI growth, and outpace China.
These factories would produce solar panels and giant battery packs that store clean energy at scale.
